What is your question?
Sputtering when I have the ignition on and when I hit the gas pedal the car kinda jumps and then shuts off. Don’t know what it is but as most people have told me it’s the fuel pump but I need a definite answer. I can shut the engine off and turn it on and it will turn turn and turn but doesn’t start now if I keep the engine shit down for a minute and it starts I can hit the gas pedal and it jumps and just dies out. Can someone just help me to the answer so I can do it by myself. Just need an educated person to steer me to where I need to go. Thanks!
What makes this problem better or worse?
Well if I turn it on and it runs I hit the gas and it starts to jump and skip then dies out
How long has your 2006 Ford Mustang had this problem?
It just started the other day

Testing the fuel pump requires a fuel pressure gauge that can be mounted to the fuel rail to perform testing. This requires tools and some skill, so if you do not have experience with this, seek the guidance of a trained technician who can do this. Your concern does not necessarily sounds like a fuel pump concern. You could have a vacuum leak or an air intake leak as well. There are multiple possible causes for the concern you are sharing. Testing hands on with proper test equipment, reference material and skilled technician is helpful.
