My hood release cable broke and i got the hood open and have the new cable but am having trouble getting the old one off and the new one on thanks.

First,make sure you bought the correct cable. there are two different ones. one is for USA built,the other cable is for Japan built. You didn't specify which end you are having trouble getting off,so I will guess the hood latch end. If so,copy and paste the video link below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pQxs9-Yru8
