How can I fix my navigation system?

What is your question?

It always shows my starting position in another place about 4 miles from my home. No matter where I drive--it STAYS in that position. Even though I can plug in a location and it still finds it. My icon just NEVER moves anywhere. Therefore, I can't use it to get directions because it won't go anywhere. (I can't even drive to the place it says I start from.)
