Hello,
Air up your tires to prevent a blowout and uneven tire wear.
The light comes on in cooler weather because of the expansive properties of the gaseous air inside the tires.
When the weather gets cold, the air in the tire shrinks, so less pressure is exerted on the tire, i.e. tire pressure goes down.
Check your tire pressure at least once per month, and make sure to follow the pressure on the door sticker.
