I believe that model will time out and allow you to leave the trunk open without the light staying on the entire time. Try it out, it should turn off after about 5 minutes. Alex

Hi, Alex, thanks for reply. Yes, all the cabin lights go out. I want to know that, if I keep the trunk open after they go out, am I still draining the battery (in some kind of "phantom " way)?
