What is your question?
I had car at dealership and they replaced pcv. Now check engine light on and they are saying due to high pressure fuel pump. Did that have to be removed in order to replace pcv? Now engine diesels out after turning off. No check light or dieseling before repairs.
How long has your 2013 Chevrolet Equinox had this problem?

You did not indicate the engine in your Equinox. I'm not seeing an area where the valve gets replaced, and not even sure why you'd do it. I would say that no - there is no reason to access the high pressure fuel pump for any kind of PCV repair. It's a 2.4l ecotech engine. The pcv was replaced do to oil leak. And now they are saying that oil is getting into high pressure fuel pump. But it never happened before the leak was fixed. I saw a video where a mechanic removed the high pressure fuel as part of the pcv replacement. So that is why I was wondering if common to do so. Because if they disconnected it during repairs could that be why something happened to it. Waiting on dealership to call on Monday to explain what is going on. But wanted to have a little bit of ammo in the chamber if I could if they say I have to pay to fix it.
