What is your question?
My 06 jetta will idel at 1300 rpm's and when i go to shift gears and push in the clutch and let off gas the idel stays at whatever rpm's I shift at, so If I go to shift at 3000 rpm' into 3rd the idel speed stays at 3000 while the clutch is in.and if i am sitting still and rev the engine to 2500 rpm's it will stay at 2500 for about 5 to 8 seconds and then drop back only to 1400 rpm's... Can someone please help me!!!

Start by checking for vacuum leaks. A leak would cause a higher than normal engine rpm. Scan for codes and report back.Use this link to find a good shop near you. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops Alex
