hi pitch air noise similar to a "whistle" during driving into frontal winds of 25-40mph or any time driving 75+ mph at 5000 ft elevation. Noise appears to emanate thru the luggage area.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Ex Hiway driving
How long has your 2001 Porsche 911 had this problem?

Hello, You can use masking tape to seal the luggage compartment between the hood, fenders, and bumper so no air can enter through the top. Do not seal any functional vents on the front bumper. If that does not eliminate the sound, seal the windshield on all four edges, then the doors. If you do the doors one at a time, you might not stop the sound... they could both have bad seals... so get a friend to tape you in if that happens. I have always had good luck with this method. Also, I doubt it is your door seals, because you would probably get water in the carpet.
