My car needs a new heating core put in, i have one for it already i just need to know how long it should take to replace it, by either shop time or do it yourself time . Thanks

It is a big job, not including evacuating the air conditioning refrigerant prior to removing the heater core and recharging the system afterward it is about a 7 to 8 hour job. Parts could run $185 to $280.
JUST REPLACE A AC EVAP IN ONE TOOK ABOUT 2.0 SHOULD ONLY TAKE ABOUT 3 .0 FOR THE HEATER CORE UNDER DASH WORK
