The Heating & A/C (HVAC) mode functions are all electronic on your 2000 Cadillac Escalade. Proper diagnoses using a scan tool to communicate with the HVAC control module may be necessary to confirm the fault. Sticking mode door actuator(s) could be one possible cause.
