What is your question?

Must a bad Heater Core be replaced before the Air Conditioner can be diagnosed? Also, could an Enginge replacement cause both AC and Heater Core damage? My engine was replaced in Dec 2007 and ever since, my AC didn't work and now I need a new Heater Core.

It sounds like who ever performed the engine replacement did not refill your A/C. ( it happens) I am not sure why your heater core is worn out. What is it doing or not doing?
