What is your question?
When I change the headlight if I tighten it all the way it turns off. If I leave it half loose it turns on. I'm not sure why. I put bulb in socket, place assembly where it goes, Turn clockwise untill tight and it turns off. not tight stays on.

you should have 2 bulbs on each side. 1 low beam (H11) on the outside and 1 hi beam (H7) on the inside, same for the other side if they are Halogen bulbs and not HID bulbs. whichever bulb you are having a problem with (more than likely the low beam),put that bulb in the other side, see what happens when you tighten it all the way on that side. if the bulb stays on when you tighten it,then either your socket is bad or one of the wires is the problem going to the socket.
Sounds like it's not making contact. You may have the wrong bulb. It should make contact when it's fully turned. Make sure you have the right bulb first. If you do, then it could be a bad socket. Alex
It is the correct bulb, I've got the same one on the other side. The part that confuses me is why when I turn it half way it works and when fully turned it does not. I'm not really sure what to try to fix this problem. Any suggestions? I also thank you for this help!
