Having oil leaks. One mechanic at Firestone said it needs a new oil pan...cost..$800 to fix!! Is this normal?

best thing to do is find you a local,trusted,independent repair shop that won't give you a line of B.S. and stick with them, and stay away from Firestone Complete Auto Care unless buying TIRES that are on sell! oil pan for your car is $139.99-$299.99 if you go buy it at local parts house.same exact oil pans(same exact part numbers) at ROCKAUTO.COM are less than $100.00" including shipping charge"? this is for the 2.4L engine,ALL ENGINES,turbo or non turbo!!
