Varies as to when tbe sound happen medium pitch only when backi g up today sounded rough feels perhaps like a grinding noise. Have always kept my s heduled maintenance appointments. My 80,000 due in 600 more miles.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It happens when I first back up the car

Sounds like a brake issue. Could be parking brake related or a dust shield. A hands on inspection is needed. You will likely want to take off all the wheels for this. If you need a shop here is a link to find one near you.https://repairpal.com/repair-shops Alex
