What is your question?
i parked pressed down the break, the hard top began to close as soon as the trunk closed the top stopped and all the windows & trunk froze and doesn't work. The top finally after a few minutes dropped (hydraulic pumps slowly released the pressure) to touch the top lip of the windshield but the top locking mechanism will not activate. Checked fuses in the glove compartment all looked good, i got a mechanic to use the scanner but said there was no errors coming back. He got the windows and trunk working and engaged the top to lock but was not able to find the issue to make it all work like its supposed to. I already paid the guy 400 and still have no idea what this will cost me.

I'm sorry to say that with these vehicles - and age - comes a price tag. No one here can give you the advice you need, as hands on testing is needed, and an experienced BMW or convertible top specialists is essential in this. It will be costly, unfortunately. Diagnostic equipment compatible with use with BMW is also essential. Make sure the tech you've chosen is experienced and equipped. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
