My 2001 chevy venture van cranks over just fine, but it taks a bit for it to fire and then it might take 2 or 3 times before it starts. once it does start there are no problems, but i do smell gas.

Customer Concern: Extended crank before the engine starts. Problem is intermittent. Tests/Procedures: 1. Check fuel pressure when the extended crank happens. Should be 52-59 PSI. 2. Inspect the fuel pressure regulator for leaking raw fuel into the vacuum hose.
