Grinding noise while lightly braking

Had new bearings put in left front wheel - now when lightly braking, or turning left, there is a "grinding" growling type noise - what could it be? thanks..

maybe a backing plate hitting the rotor. return to the shop and have them re check there work. Roy

its the other side when u take a left the load goes on the right wheel
