grinding noise and won’t reverse

What is your question?

After making a turn, the car will make a slight grind/ scrape noise for a short while then will be normal. Car will not reverse at all and nothing under the hood is noticeably making the noise although that’s where it seems to be coming from.

What makes this problem better or worse?

worse when the engine is cold
