What is your question?
Engine makes a grinding noise when you start it and still there when you put it in reverse but goes away after awhile

Can you determine what area of the car the noise is coming from. If is present when you start the engine but have not selected Drive or Reverse it could be the starter staying "engaged", if the noise is only present as you drive off in forward or reverse it could be worn brake linings. Could it be a loose fan belt?
It sounds like it comes from the engine area, I checked the exhaust to make sure that nothing is lose. But it is present when you start, put in reverse and on drive and after a few seconds 20. at the most it's gone I don't know my be I'm right or my be I'm wrong but I'm beginning to think it might be the Clucth Fan. What do you think.
