gas tank - she's a spitter

You have a plugged up carbon canister/vent valve assembly, that won't let the air be displaced as you fill up the tank. This is part of the EVAP system which gathers stray gas fumes so they don't get in to the air. Go to a better shop, in many cases, dealerships aren't what they used to be. Go to a place that understands Emissions Systems, this problem is really pretty basic, it surprises me that the dealership was baffled.
