What is your question?

why is it when i am running the air conditioner i get a strong smell of gas? i notice it when i open up the hood. I tried to find the source but i keep comming back to a small black box on the right if you are faceing the engine. Doea any one know what that is?

You smell the gas because the A/C is sucking air into your Caddy and the gas fumes are being sucked in to the car with it. The device is most likely part of the EVAPORATIVE System that stores fuel vapors. I would NOT mess with this, have a good shop repair this ASAP before your Caddy catches on fire, fuel leaks are REALLY REALLY dangerous!! http://repairpal.com/cadillac-repair-in-billings-montana
