What is your question?
When I start my car I smell gasoline for awhile, then the smell goes away...Does the smell point to anything? I wondered about the fuel pump. Not overheating, and no antifreeze smell, or leaks on the front floor.

You may have an exhaust leak, a fuel leak or your smelling the exhaust when warming up the vehicle (which tends to have a more distinct gas smell than normal). To determine which one it is you'll need to locate the source of the odor, and this may be best left to someone who knows what to look for. In other words, take it to a repair shop for an inspection.
