you can buy just the sending unit.this is what tells your vehicle how much fuel is in the tank, and you would transfer all the parts from the old module assembly to the new one. or you could replace the entire fuel pump module for around $1400.00.if you do all the work yourself>>>
Mechanic found one online 3 year warranty buying one used 150. Hoping it works I would have rather just paid for the sending unit my question would be if I buy the whole pump will that fix this problem or will I still have to buy the sending unit
well,i didn't really think you wanted a used one,but there are plenty of them on Ebay for $50.00 to $80.00 USED! this is the complete assembly..really all you need is the sender,,that is the part that has the float/arm/switch.but you can get the whole assembly, pump included for $50.00-$80.00..i just did this a while back for a vehicle and it works perfect.i paid $26.99 for mine, been about a year ago.i saw it listed on Ebay and the place that was selling it was a scrap yard 15 miles from my house,so i just drove right on up there and picked it up.
