Ok you need to 100% verify if the battery is good before moving on. If the battery checks out you can move to the starter and check to see if its getting power. If you dont have the ability to check the starter for power and the battery is good, you can lightly tap on the starter with a hammer to see if that convinces it to work.
I highly recommend diagnosing it properly though as hitting a starter is more of a last resort if stranded.
