fuel pump will only work if straight wired what can i do

In the engine compartment fuse box there is a 20 AMP Blue fuse link that supplies power to the fuel pump relay see that that is OK first. After that the fuel pump relay in the passenger compartment may have failed. The relay receive power from the fuse link and sends power to the pump once the ECU supplies power to the fuel pump relay pull in contacts.
