Fuel Level Gauge

(1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass)
in Fort Atkinson, WI on September 28, 2010
Recently my fuel level gauge is inaccurate. When I fill up, the gauge indicates "full", however after that, the level indicator may show "half full" the next time I start up, or even down to 1/4 the next time. Is this a float issue or an electrical issue?

Fuel level sensor may be the problem. The Check engine light may come on and code will lead you to this repair.
