Problem Description and Possible Solution

The front thrust rod bushingsalso referred to as tension strut bushingsare known to fail occasionally. The oil-filled rubber mounts weaken and crack over time, causing a mushy road feel and shuddering in the steering wheel when going over bumps.

I have the same problem the Trust Rod Bushing is as what the dealers said a little crack in it and they want to charge 1500.00 to fix it, is this about what everybody charge?
