What is your question?
Can anyone tell me what the acceptable freon levels are for the 2006 Jetta? I have the guages and also need to know the proper freon. What levels should the high and low side be? thanks

The proper way to measure the amount of refrigerant is by weight, which means removing the refrigerant and adding the proper amount to the system. The pressures are a good way to verify that the system is OK or not, but you cannot get an accurate measure of the refrigerant level.
so all the existing freon has to be removed, weighed and then reinstalled?
That's the only way to know exactly how much is in the system. You can add but you just won't know how much is in there.
