Flashing temperature light indicates cooling malfunction. I’m leaking clean coolant (pink/no oil). Dealership states I need to replace oil cooler for $2k. TDI Diesel engine. Sounds off??

When I top off coolant w distilled water light turns off. Continuing to leak however, then light returns
What seems to make the problem better or worse? Nothing
How long have you had this problem? 2 days

If the oil cooler is leaking coolant then this would make sense. If you don't trust the diagnosis then get a second opinion.
