What is your question?

I can get up to 70 or more on the freeway but I must always excelerate slowly or it will stall and I have to hit nuteral and turn off and or the ignition and restart. Is it the computer or something else? doncarlosfirst@yahoo.com

This vehicle is equiped with a fuel metering valve and an air mass meter. It soulds like one of these is not operating properly. A volvo specialist could probably fix you up quickly.

Could also be a failed in-tank fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator too. Have the diagnostic codes and fuel pressure checked by a Volvo shop, they likely deal with this issue all the time on the 740.
