Engine won't start, no spark

Have you checked to see that it is getting no spark or is it not getting spark and not getting fuel. its strange that all these frustrating things are happening at one, makes me think it is a wiring/power or bad ground but it's impossible to be more precise without being able to do some basic diagnostic tests or hook up a scan tool and look at some basic sensor input values.
