What is your question?
After driving sometimes the engine will develop a ticking noise from the top. It will get progressively louder to the point where it's quite annoying. Then out of nowhere it will go away. It comes and goes with no warning and I cant figure it out. I run 10w-30 mobile 1 full synthetic and change the oil every 3000 miles. Car has total of 163xxx miles.

Does your red oil lamp come on when you turn your key on before starting up (engine Off) vehicle as a bulb check? Also have you check to see if when noise is present raising the rpm to 2500rpm. If noise goes away maybe it a problem in the lubrication system. Hydraulic valve lifter are know to make "ticking sound" you might want to take it to your normal service station and have them inspect your vehicle if your tool arsenal is limited, best of wishes.
Yeah the bulb works it does come on when the ignition is turned but not started. There are no codes, and the ticking will increase with the rpms. I have a garage with any tool I would need, I just dont know where to start and dont want to do any unnecessary tinkering. The car still runs great the noise is just on my nerves and i would like to figure it out in the event it could lead to something more serious down the road
Okay good to know. Start w/ checking your engine oil pressure. Spec: Oil Pressure 393 - 490 kPa (57 - 71 psi) @ 3000 rpm. Good Luck
