engine stalls

It could be so many things, on this truck I would look at the Mass Air Flow Sensor, however, that is really expensive. So start by making sure the door inside of it swings open and closed freely. Also check your cold start valve, that is the little blue one, unplug it, sometimes the electronics that control it stick on for too long. Check for any trouble code by jumping T1 - E1 in the Diagnostic socket, with the key on and the engine off. Also check fuel pressure, check the vacuum hose of the fuel pressure regulator to see if any fuel is in there, could be a ruptured pressure diaphragm. These are a few quick checks.
