Engine stalling when hot

What is your question?

When the engine is hot and after a long drive, the engine will turn over on start up but will stall and not stay on. The engine will run if you give it gas but stalls after you take your foot off the pedal. I changed a PVC hose on the backside of engine (has foil insulation) last year and the problem stopped but it is back again. Help.
