MY COBALT ENGINE RATTLES BETWEEN 50 AND 60 MPH AND WHEN YOU STEP ON THE BRAKES. ANY CLUES?

I don't have any idea why the engine should rattle (would need more info), but if the car shudders when you apply the brakes at speed, I think your brake rotors are warped. If you want to find a specialist, here's a directory link for you: https://repairpal.com/chevrolet-repair-in-upland-california
