What is your question?
Just purchased my 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage and Been traveling quiet a bit and about week ago on way home at night hit a large pot hole in road caused by winter storm. Pulled over to make sure I didn’t blow out tire and didn’t see any damage. Next day about a week ago started making this loud engine noise when going 50-60mph so loud the way radio doesn’t drown it out! It seems to be getting louder everyday and needs to be looked at. The rpm gage doesn’t rev up when it starts making loud noise it moves normally. But engine sounds like it is revving up until it reaches 60-65mph and calms down some. Honestly I don’t know what this car is suppose to sound like, if it is normal road noise or something wrong. It doesn’t feel right
What makes this problem better or worse?
When reaching 50mph-60 mph
How long has your 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage had this problem?
For about a week

I urge you to seek guidance at a local shop near you where a technician can drive your vehicle and assess what is happening first hand. Just hearing the concern will be a good clue for a technician to steer you in the proper direction. It could be an engine concern or a transmission concern, or an accessory noise - too hard to know from a computer screen. Took in to have diagnostics run and they determined it was transmission bearing going out so replaced while transmission (I’m covered) get car back and still doing same thing as before. They thought it might be wheel bearing but couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Now telling me I need to take it to Mitsubishi Dealership because they don’t know what else it could be. In mean time I’m still driving it and still gets real loud between 50 - 60 mph and hopefully it doesn’t cause all kinds of other problems until I can get to a dealership
