Engine light maf sensor bad, replaced now car goes into limp mode when on

I would but auto zone discarded already tore plus telling me it's the ECM but cat runs great without maf so how can Braun be involved

Just got have a diagnostic flow chart and start testing the circuits .. 94 is non OBD II so the scanner will not have as much helpful info.. It can be fixed but it's just got to be checked out hands-on.

Will it damage engine too unplug n leave alone I travel average 600 miles every 60 days Florida 2 Alabama n back

Whatever makes the engine performance better is how you should proceed... I don't see how it could damage anything.
