Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! If your engine check light is flashing when you're at full throttle, that's a sign of a misfire. Even though your spark plugs, fuel injectors, and compression checked out, the problem could still lie with the ignition coils. When an engine is under heavy load (like full throttle), weak or faulty coils can struggle to fire properly. It's also worth checking for air leaks in the intake system, clogged catalytic converters, or fuel delivery issues that may only show up under hard acceleration. If the light’s flashing, avoid pushing the engine too hard—it can cause damage. Get it scanned again to see if any more specific misfire codes (P030X) show up.
