Engine change price

Hi, The engine of my ISUZU RODEO 2002 has just broken down. A garage close from my place tells me it will cost $3,000 to replace it (price of the used engine included), and with a one-year warranty. The garage says they need 12 hours of labor to replace the engine. Do you think this price estimate is fair or not? Can anyone give me advice on the usual cost to replace this engine?
