Thank you, It started coming on after we had it tuned up. It comes on at start up like normal and then goes out. Then sometime later while driving it comes on flashing and the ESP light also comes on. We can stop and turn off engine and restart car and it will go away and not come on again until we stop and start the car again and only if it has had enough time fore the engine to cool off. What do you think if anything. Thanks for help
same thing happened to me, if you had your vehicle tuned up(spark plugs...etc where the intake plenum has to come off) chances are the egr tube in the back, the seals have probably not been replaced. therfore it causes a vacuum leak. thats what causes the etc and esp light to come on, cant find the seals anywhere and trying to fix the problem myself. when i know more of if i can fix myself, i will keep you updated. (did you ever get it fixed?)
Same thing happened to me a month or so ago. Routine tune up and in the process we accidentally disconnected the EGR line. Plugged it back and and problem went away, now periodically the lights will come on again. This leads me to believe the problem is in the EGR as well. let me know if any of you find out if this is the problem
