el traction light on dash signifies what?

Everytime I start my 1997 e320 mercedes, (odo reads 100,650 miles)the "El Traction" message comes on the dash window accompanied by the circle lights for Abs and brakes. Since I am selling this car, I wonder what the least expensive way is to deal with this.
