Q: driver side window control module on 2000 Mercedes-Benz S430

I was told that my drivers side window control module needs to be replaced. Does any one know how much and can it be replaced with a used one?

I don't have an answer but enough of us are haveing a problem with this same issue maybe some defect that Mercedes needs to recall. The modules are about 800.00 each and I'm told it's two that must be replaced.
I cannot GUARANTEE this works in every case, however, try this press the button to raise the window and hold it down and count slowly to thirty then release wait ten seconds then try to lower it. this resets the "computer module". I have done this with the front window controls many many times and have never had to replace the control module.
I've had this problem when it rained inside the car and the module was ruined...found a used one on Ebay for $50. Replaced it and have had no more problems. You can get instructions on YouTube on how to remove door panel.
