Driver seat malfunction

(2001 Chrysler LHS)
in Columbus, GA on August 31, 2010
The driver seat will not slide backwards after I moved it forward so that i could clean underneath it. When I slide the button to move the seat back, nothing happens. I can hear a clicking noise when the button is pushed but nothing happens. Is there a manual lever somewhere on the seat so that I can push it back. What is causing the problem.

There isn't a manual way of moving the seat forward and back. The motor, cable, cable or something electrical may have failed. First check to see if there is anything jammed under the seat, a bottle, child's toy, umbrella.......
