Does waterpump have to be replaced with tming belt

you've got one of the most reliable cars on the planet. my shop will never install "just" a timing belt because it has the potential of ruining your engine IF anything else goes wrong. my motto is "do the job correctly the first time" and if a customer declines, he needs to take the car elsewhere.
