Hello, I'm not sure how you got to having a steering column lock actuator being condemned as failing from a flashing key light. Does the key turn at all? Or are you saying it does not turn?
The lock actuator in itself should not influence anti-theft system operation. But I'm not convinced that it is a part you need to replace.
