What is your question?
I have a 2016 Honda Accord, The TPMS light is on, check engine light is on, as well as the power steering light, and the traction control light. Every time i put in a new battery, is dies fully within two weeks. The codes of the engine are P0171 pending/permanent. P0420 stored. Do you have any ideas on what could be going on with it?

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! You’ve got a Honda that’s playing Christmas tree with its dashboard lights—fun, but not festive! First off, the recurring dead battery suggests a parasitic drain or alternator issue. A drain means something is sipping power when it shouldn’t, like a stuck relay or aftermarket accessory. The P0171 (lean condition) and P0420 (catalyst efficiency) could point to an exhaust leak or failing O2 sensors, especially if they’re related to each other. A vacuum leak or weak fuel delivery might also be part of the problem. The lit-up power steering and traction lights? They’re probably grumpy because of the electrical chaos. Start by testing the alternator output and looking for a drain. Once the power issue is sorted, you can chase the codes without gremlins messing with your results.
