Died about every 15 mins, now won't start but cranks over.

Purchased this car yesterday from owner that is frustrated with car. First it would stall, and then restart sometime later. Now it doesn't seem to want to start at all. Has not been run for several months now and will be towed to my house this week, The current battery doesn't have enough power to crank engine over, so it will have to go.
