Defog system seems to work but no air reaches windshield or anywhere else.

Problem started suddenly. Windshield fogs down although I can hear the fan working at full speed - as well as changing speed. Seems like no air slips out. Tried diagnosing, got up a 02 code after some trial time. Tried again - and nothing. AC and computer is not in order - never has been in my time with this car. Can this be a mechanical problem like something falling down and blocking? OR - relay or fuse?
