With due deference to Roy, the wrench light is actually not associated with mainteance on a Ford. It is an indicator of a powertrain issue - in this case, a throttle control issue with the drive-by-wire electronic throttle control. A diagnosis must be performed to determine if a throttle sensor is faulty or perhaps the throttle body itself.
