What bearing are in the front end of the vehicle besides wheel bearings?

Wheel bearing new, cv axle was replaced as well as tie rod ends but there is a rattle on rough roads. Mechanic said a cv axle bearing what is the real name of the part? I searched and found one other besides wheel bearings but it was transmission related any ideas?

The axle shafts with the CV joints do not have bearings on them. The intermediate shaft may have a bearing. However, I don't feel like the rattle noise is related to a bearing concern. A good, thorough physical inspection is what is needed to determine where the triode is originating from.
